Assessing your application

Applications will be evaluated by a panel of representatives from the Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Family Start Providers with expertise in the various educational disciplines.

Each application will be evaluated against the Selection Criteria.

The selection process normally takes about six weeks. We’ll contact you if we need more information or need to clarify an aspect of your application.

What happens next?

If your application is successful, we will send you a draft agreement that details the terms and conditions of your funding. Once you sign the agreement it becomes legally binding.

If your application isn’t approved, we will let you know the reasons for our decision. We will also discuss changes that you could make if you would like to apply for a study award again in the future.
